About this property

Picturesque cottage in the grounds of an ancient Cornish manor house, set in a peaceful valley with spectacular mature trees, just outside Blisland village with its famous real-ale pub and Grade-1 listed church. Harry is the biggest cottage on the end of the converted barn. Huge open-plan living space with wooden beams, vast fireplace with wood burner (free logs), a comfy kitchen/dining area at one end and a lovely seating area at the other, with charming countryside views and piano. Head downstairs to bed in three comfortable bedrooms. This is a beautiful and relaxing place. Note: This property can be booked with Dick and Tom, together they sleep 15.

I think my family (or my extended family) have all stayed in at least one of the cottages over the years. This was our 3rd stay at Harry and as always, we loved it. It’s beautiful and spacious, offering plenty of space in the open floor plan to spread out and relax. The bedrooms downstairs are comfortable and have access to a lovely back lawn with pretty border gardens and outdoor seating. Blisland is a picture book perfect little village with its popular pub, leafy village green, beautiful church and wonderful little grocery that has the essentials. We will continue to return to this beautiful spot.

Perfect base to visit Cornwall and experience a slice of history. Will definitely use as Cornwall base again.

Very comfortable and we made good use of the log burner due to the cold weather. Very minor point, the crockery was a little lacking, ie no cereal bowls, also could possibly do with more wine and drinks glasses. Overall we had a great few days here.
