The Studio in Cornwall offers a peaceful stay with a central location ideal for exploring local attractions. Guests appreciate the property's tranquility and the kind gestures of the owners, such as a welcoming scone, jam, and clotted cream. While some find the space cosy and the bed comfortable, others note areas for improvement.
Reviews indicate a need for improved cleanliness, with mentions of cobwebs, a smell of damp, and floors that had not been mopped. Some guests felt the need to clean upon arrival.
The location is highly praised for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions, beaches, and towns, making it an excellent base for exploring Cornwall.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. Some guests find the bed and sofa comfortable, while others report issues with a lumpy mattress and an uncomfortable sofa. The small size of the bedroom is frequently mentioned.
Facilities are seen as adequate by some, but several guests report maintenance issues such as problems with the toilet, oven, and a lack of Wi-Fi. The layout and size of the kitchen are also points of contention.
While some guests mention thoughtful touches like a welcome pack with scones, jam, and clotted cream, there is not enough consistent information about such gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

We found the property easily from the directions and everywhere we wanted to visit was within 45 minutes drive. The owner explained there had been recent repairs and there was a smell of damp, but the heater soon dissipated this. Also access to wifi would have been a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A decent frying pan would be good and not one that had been attacked with a ball hammer. Could do with a few more kitchen items. If guests damage items, they should have their cards debited. The shower room could do with a tidy up. Conduit under towel rail, messy tiles to the left of sink. All silly little things that would take minutes to sort out at very little expense but would enhance the overall impression. We absolutely loved it and give it a full five stars. will probably stay again next year. Don't leave your dog free to roam if a staying guest has a dog of their own!
