On the far edge of Bude, 1½ miles from the sandy cove of Northcott Mouth is Columbine Cottage. The cottage is part of a neatly manicured, wooded site comprising 14 holiday cottages, an indoor heated swimming pool, games room and children's play field. Columbine is a single-storey cottage and has lovely long views from its pretty patio. Inside is contemporary, neat-as-a-pin and very comfortable. The living space is open-plan, bright and stylish with glazed French doors. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin; both relaxing and peaceful spaces sharing a family bathroom. Outside is a sunny sitting area with table and chairs. The bustling Cornish town of Bude has two good beaches - Summerleaze and Crooklets, served by an excellent beach cafe, as well as shops, pubs, restaurants. There are more superb beaches at Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven both close by, as is the famous hillside Devon village of Clovelly. Quiet and convenient, Columbine Cottage is ideal for exploring Bude's attractions and North Cornwalls fabulous beaches.
