Located on Hayle Towans, just a stone’s throw from the beach is this contemporary, detached home, The Sandbox. Set over the first-floor, with an off-road parking space underneath, this inviting retreat welcomes couples looking for a coastal base in West Cornwall. After a day on the beach, wash away the sand in the shower room before getting comfortable in the bright and airy open-plan living space, home to a generous corner sofa with TV opposite, ideal for catching up on your favourite shows. As your appetite builds, move over to the well-equipped kitchen and turn on the electric oven and induction hob, with a fridge, a counter top freezer and washing machine also on hand. Take a seat at the breakfast bar and toast to a long-awaited break with your better half. When the weather is nice, throw open the patio doors and access the Juliet balcony, providing a glimpse of St Ives and the estuary mouth. The bedroom hosts a double bed and a TV so you can continue your favourite series in bed. Pack your bucket and spade and wander over to the golden sands of Hayle beach, perfect for an afternoon of sunbathing or dip in the sea. Get better acquainted with your surroundings and take a short stroll into the centre of Hayle where you can expect to find a selection of shops, perfect for picking up a keepsake to remind you of your marvellous staycation, along with a delicious choice of eateries; just a moment away lies the Bluff Inn, a relaxed seaside café serving breakfast, lunch and dinner! A significant rspb wildlife estuary flows out of Hayle in the remote southwest corner of Cornwall and into the stunning St. Ives Bay, where tourists may enjoy three miles of golden sand beaches, hiking, history, and wildlife. Hayle offers a wide range of activities ashore as well. Paradise Park is a wildlife park where visitors may see amazing parrots, otters, and red pandas. The harbour and estuary region of Hayle are home to a variety of stores, eateries, and bars. Skittles and kart racing are available for the whole family, and Lelant, a mile outside of Hayle, has one of Cornwall's top links golf courses. The three miles of golden sand beach in Gwithian, where there is a surf shop, instruction, and equipment rental, is Hayle's crowning glory. There are beach cafes where the less active can relax while taking in the scenery and watching the kids play. Given its central location, Hayle is easily reachable by both public transportation (there is a train station nearby) and private transportation. A short drive will take you to St. Ives, where you may stroll through the winding alleys, visit the art galleries, or take in the vibrant subtropical gardens. There are several boat trips available in St Ives Harbour that are skippered by locals eager to highlight the finest of Cornwall, whether it is seal watching at Seal Island, a few hours of mackerel fishing, or a leisurely journey to Godrevy Lighthouse. St Ives Harbour has its own modest fishing fleet. The Minack Theatre (35 minutes away), Falmouth Maritime Museum (40 minutes), Eden Project (40 minutes), St. Michael's Mount (15 minutes), and a host of other top-notch tourist destinations are all conveniently located near Hayle.
