The Cheesewrings, Sharp Tor, the engine houses at Minions, Kitt Hill, and Caradon Hill are just a few of the many breathtaking sights that can be reached from this location on Bodmin Moor. There is a Post Office and a classic bar in the village that dates back to the 17th century. The pounding waves of the north shore and the calm waters and fishing communities of the south are both easily accessible. Six miles away, at Siblyback Lake, anglers and water sport enthusiasts may cool down, while nearby rivers provide salmon and trout fishing. The property is amazingly clean, immaculate,warm, very comfortable and stylish. There was always hot water, and the bed was super comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful in the accomodation and the beautiful surrounding area. The Owner, Becca, was so friendly and welcoming, and was there if we had needed anything, yet also left us to enjoy our stay privately, which we prefer. On arrival we were greeted warmly by her, and she also left us a gift of a delicious Cornish Cream Tea, plus gifts for our Dogs, which was a thoughtful touch. We also found we had been left a large basket of logs for the log burner, plus firelighters. The surrounding area is beautiful, and it is the perfect location for visiting many places within Cornwall. Overall, this is one of the best, if not the best Sykes accomodation that we have stayed in. We will definitely be returning and can highly recommend!

Exceptionally clean inside and very friendly and comfortable. At the end of the gravelled parking area are a couple of seats where you can sit and look at the most beautiful view across the valley. Be aware of the single track roads to and from the property.

The cottage is quiet and comfortable with walks around for the dog. We were welcomed with some lovely scones and treats for Toto. This is a really nice place to stay.
