Reasonable walking distance to porth beach. The nearest beach has been closed for over 2 years. The kitchen window has blown and the blind needs replacing. Shame you cant see the view. The washing machine and dish washer are in the garage underneath the flat. Also shared with another rental. Sofas were confortable and nice countryside views from the deck. The deck could do with a gate as the stairs would be dangerous for pets and toddlers. The board ptovided just blows down. The duvet was a double on a kingsize bed, not very good when cooler nights. Not much cutlary or usable kitchen plates etc You will need to bring binbags, sharp knife. The small freezer compartment was in urgent need of defrosting (quite a build up). No niceties like a welcome guide tothings in the ares or milk to get you started either. Its a shame as it has great potential.

Some of the fixtures/fittings felt a little fragile, including the toilet seat which was a bit of a rollercoaster (it shifted about) and this unfortunately led to it breaking towards the end of the stay. I also think it is worth putting in the description that it may not be suitable for large dogs (our Cane Corso struggled to find space to settle) and there is not somewhere on the property to toilet your dog (this would be helpful for people bringing puppies). As I said though, all in all we had a lovely holiday here.

However Great location, 45minute cliff top walk to Watergate bay and all that it has to offer, as well as only only a 10 minute walkto Porth beach and town itself! Peak season according to neighbours there are a couple of larger houses that are prone to party lets, these often can be quite noisy. Area itself is also known for frequent power cuts we had 3 in one night! The apartment itself was very clean and tidy the bed was reasonably comfy! However being honest I think this let is more suited to a single occupant whom is shorter than 5ft 9 and of a slighter build! to use the kitchen sink properly at 6â2 I had to open the velux window and stick my head out! (The window itself needs replacing as the double glaze is blown) to clean teeth in the toilet sink I had to kneel on the floor! Because of the slopped roof getting out of bed involved a commando style roll manoeuvre. The shower was only accessible sideways on and Iâm of a slimmer build to many! The apartment isnât really dog friendly with no garden, only a small balcony with a flimsy dog barrier (not fixed) which can be blown over in a mild wind the very steep steps meant we had to carry our Dog up and down! Also Because of the design privacy in the bathroom is an issue, even when your partner goes out onto the balcony because of the loo window, even there you canât hide what youâre doing! Facilities were all there but washing machine and dishwasher were downstairs in a separate location so never got used! No ironing board, table is glass so canât use that, so the floor or bed is only option! (Not good for packed clothes) Top tips if youâre staying here! Take coffee pods take a couple of sharp knives as the ones supplied are useless! Take a washing up bowl! Take some board games and torch and a couple of battery packs to keep your phones charged! It did the job for us! It took a couple of days to adjust to the place in my opinion just needs a re design refit
