Situated within an exclusive, gated site with wonderful woodland walks and various fishing lakes, all within the compound, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The Cornish Birds of Prey Centre is next door, where you can witness captivating falconry displays (additional charges apply, payable directly to them). Close to both Newquay and Padstow, guests can enjoy activities from savouring culinary delights at renowned restaurants like Rick Stein's, to lessons at surf schools, and cycling adventures along the picturesque Camel Trail. Numerous National Trust properties are found nearby, and other attractions including the iconic Eden Project (15 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (17 miles) are fantastic for daytrips. Good, large and comfortable lodge which is well equipped. Only downside we had was that we are light sleepers and you can hear the A39 at night but that did not detract from a great holiday.
