9 Cedars in St. Agnes, Cornwall, is a well-equipped cottage praised for its fantastic location, comfort, and additional touches like books and toys. While some guests highlighted issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the property's proximity to dog-friendly beaches, coastal walks, and local amenities has been consistently appreciated. The hot tub and the property's suitability for families are also noted positives.
Cleanliness has been a concern for some guests, with reports of insufficient cleaning prior to arrival, including blocked sinks and unclean bedding. However, these issues seem to be isolated incidents rather than the norm.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, coastal walks, and local village amenities, making it an ideal spot for holidaymakers looking for convenience and natural beauty.
Guests find the property comfortable overall, with super comfy mattresses mentioned, though there are some concerns about the quality of the bunk bed mattresses and the accuracy of bed sizes listed.
Facilities like the hot tub are appreciated, but there are reports of broken games, unclear instructions for the log burner, and some features of the hot tub not working. Maintenance issues such as blocked baths and the need for light replacements have been noted.
Thoughtful touches like books, toys, and scones with clotted cream have been well-received, although it's mentioned that the scones were not from a local bakery. It's important to note that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed.

The hot tub was a big hit with us all too. St Agnes holds special memories for us & now we've found this little gem of a house, I'm sure we'll be back to stay, thank you

On arrival there was no toilet roll in any of the toilets. No hand soap either. The coffee machine was still full of discarded coffee pods and the frother had old smelly dried up milk in it. This was massively disappointing considering the property is marketed as top end. These are basicsâ¦The beds were moderately comfortable but the childrenâs bunk bed mattresses seemed to be the cheapest single spring mattresses which were very uncomfortable. The small double was up against the wall which was marked from peoples hands. Yuck. And the duvet was just not the right size.. The kitchen whilst functional was very well appointed but the breakfast bar panel is falling apart. The hot tub was ok but some features no longer work like the waterfall part. Generally an ok stay but unlikely to return.
