An attractive converted barn on the outskirts of St Agnes. The Shires has been restored into a bright, modern holiday home with room for up to four guests. Combining modern features, comfort and style, it’s the perfect hideaway for a Cornish break with friends and family.
Lovingly restored, The Shires is a contemporary barn conversion on the edge of the pretty seaside village of St Agnes, just 1.5 miles from the coast. Combining both traditional character and modern living, it’s the perfect holiday property for a family or group of friends (and their dogs!) to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall.
The property has a reverse layout with two bedrooms on the ground floor. Bedroom number one has a king-size bed, Smart television and en-suite shower room, while bedroom number two has two single beds, which can also be converted into a second king-size bed. The family bathroom, also on the ground floor, contains a shower over the bath and a WC.
The first floor contains the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, all with high vaulted ceilings and wooden beams. The living area has a selection of comfortable seating, Smart television and a cosy wood burning stove – the perfect place for relaxing after a day on the beach or exploring Cornwall. The kitchen is well-equipped with a modern design and a range of appliances, including dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
The Shires has use of the lovely communal gardens and a private patio area. There is a store room with beach equipment for guests to borrow, as well as storage for bicycles etc. Here you’ll also find outdoor furniture and a barbecue for use during your stay.

Please note that to get to the town of St Agnes, there is a short walk on the main road (Roughly 0.2 miles).

What a fantastic accommodation and perfect location. We went to loads of places and would recommend 'the lounge' in Truro (the best food we have had all week!). Thank you for this amazing place to stay and for the memories made!!! ❤

Thank you so much, we've had the wonderful break. A beautiful clean, well equipped barn. Gorgeous area, wonderful, dog friendly beaches (our favourite was 'Porthtowan'). Not far from 'Sr Ives' where the cheeky seagulls tried to pinch our pasties! Thank you. :) xx
