EdyVean is a well-regarded apartment in St. Austell, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the proximity to beaches and the coastal path, though some note the hilly terrain. The property owner is commended for being friendly and helpful.
The apartment consistently receives high praise for its spotless condition and cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting this aspect positively.
The location is appreciated for its closeness to beaches and local attractions. However, the steep terrain and potential difficulty in accessing certain areas during bad weather slightly affect the score.
Comfort is frequently mentioned, with guests finding the apartment and its furnishings very comfortable. The lack of windows in the bedroom is a noted drawback for some.
Facilities are highly regarded, with the apartment being described as well-equipped and maintained. The mention of a large shower room and quality kitchen appliances contribute to a high score.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience with the property owner and mention local knowledge, there is no specific mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.
EdyVean is ideally positioned in the quaint village of Portmellon. A short 5-minute walk brings you to the beach with its own pub. And only a short 15-minute walk away from Mevagissey in Cornwall. This ground-floor apartment enjoys a stylish interior and hosts one bedroom, a superb base for a couple seeking an escape to the Cornish coast. On arrival, park up in off-road space before making your way into your holiday home, where you will discover the tastefully furnished living/dining room. Unwind with a cup of tea and escape into the pages of a book on the armchair or sprawl on the sofa to catch up on your favourite shows, when stomachs begin to rumble dine together at the table to savour a meal. Locate the kitchen, where you can treat your other half to a heart-warming dish with an electric oven and hob to assist you and if the sun is shining, why not have an alfresco affair on the front patio? The front garden is home to shrubbery and palm trees to keep you in the shade and when the evening cools, retreat inside, and enjoy a steamy shower in the wet room to rinse the day away. When you're ready to rest your head, a king size double bed and Emma mattress awaits, where you can continue reading under a bedside lamp. Awaken with a home-cooked breakfast to fuel the day and as coffee is poured, discuss the plans for the adventures ahead. A short walk will lead you into the fishing village of Mevagissey, lined with cobbled streets for a mooch around the shops, an aquarium to get up close to sea creatures and the Lonely Coast Gallery to soak in the culture. There are a number of excellent restaurants for you to try as well as several local pubs all with their own unique ambience. Explore the sandy cove of Colonna beach to soak in the sun and take advantage of the close proximity of the South West Coast Path either on foot or bike to marvel at the rugged coastline. Jump in the car and unveil 200 years of history at The Lost Gardens Heligan, visit Charlestown to view unique architecture and a cluster of eateries or for a beautiful beach backed by trees, relax on Porthpean Beach. Or take a trip to the world-renowned Eden Project and explore the bio domes and all of the exotic plants they house! For an escape to Cornwall like no other, treat your better half to a stay at Edyvean.
With meandering cobblestone alleys and a lovely port full with boats, this is the ideal Cornish fishing community. Beautiful hikes go both ways along the coast, with sandy beaches, steep cliffs, and hidden coves to discover. The village boasts a good selection of pubs and eateries, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just up the road. Between Easter and September, a daily ferry travels from Mevagissey to Fowey. Spend some time at the Tall Ships harbour at Charlestown (7 miles), which has a shipwreck museum, or among the world-famous Eden Project's tropical biomes (11 miles).

Noisy movements from above. Should be noted a large step. No good for a stroll as this area is very, very hilly. Nice little extras supplied by owner.
