Guests say

An Kres in St Austell, Cornwall, is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and friendly owners. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts and local advice. The property boasts modern conveniences and a garden, though some noted the steep hill to the town and suggested improvements to the TV and kitchen equipment.

Reviewers consistently mention the property's spotless condition, with multiple guests highlighting its cleanliness. The high frequency of positive comments on this aspect justifies a near-perfect score.

The property's location receives mixed reviews. While it is appreciated for its proximity to Mevagissey and quiet setting, several guests mention the steep hill as a drawback, particularly for those with mobility issues or preferring not to drive.

Guests find the property comfortable, noting the well-thought-out space and cosy atmosphere. The comfort of the furniture and the provision of outdoor seating areas contribute to a high score in this category.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and the convenience of a washing machine. However, some guests suggest upgrades to the TV and kitchenware, which slightly lowers the score.

The owners' thoughtfulness is frequently commended, with guests appreciating the extra touches like biscuits, Prosecco, and breakfast items. While these gestures are warmly received, it is noted that such gifts are a kind bonus and may vary.

The goodies left by Colin and Jill was an added bonus, place was lovely and clean, location suited us. We would of loved to come back next year but the bed is stopping us.

The description is very misleading. It is more like a mile and is very, very very steep. There is an easier alternative route Which is about twice as far. We would not have booked if we -had known, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
