Guests say

Crow's Nest is a beautifully appointed cottage in Port Isaac, praised for its stylish decor, luxurious comfort, and excellent location close to the harbour. Guests have enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, sea views, and the property's character. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness oversights were mentioned, the overall experience has been very positive, with many guests eager to return.

The cottage generally appears clean upon arrival, but some guests noted issues such as cobwebs, dirty windows, and outdoor areas needing attention. A more thorough cleaning, especially of the patio and outdoor furniture, would enhance the experience.

The location is outstanding, with guests appreciating the short stroll to the harbour and the peaceful surroundings. The dedicated parking is a bonus, although the signage could be improved.

The property is celebrated for its comfort, with quality furnishings and a cosy atmosphere. The well-thought-out layout and luxurious touches contribute to a relaxing stay, despite minor issues with some tech usage.

Facilities are generally excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen and quality appliances. However, some maintenance issues like non-functioning shower heads and garden furniture condition have been pointed out. The provision of more dishwasher pads and clearer instructions for tech would be beneficial.

While guests have not specifically mentioned gifts, the lack of a welcome pack has been noted. The inclusion of local information and clearer instructions for the property's amenities would be a thoughtful touch for arriving guests.

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.

It is beautifully furnished, well equipped and provides a wonderful base for exploring this area of Cornwall. Wonderful walks on the coast and inland. Great restaurants in walking distance too. Port Isaac remains a gem of a place and staying at the cottage really added to the experience. A visitor book would be a nice touch to share guest suggestions.

The decor and furnishings were of a very high spec and the cottage was stocked with everything you could ever need for a holiday. Crow's Nest was located perfectly for a short walk in to Port Isaac and the ability to enjoy the surrounding area. The cottage was perfect for our week's holiday with plenty of space inside and out. I would highly recommend Crow's Nest.

We love Crows Nest. It really is a hidden gem within Port Isaac. However this time there was just a few minor complaints. The amount of cobwebs and spiders are really mounting up inside the house. We have been there 3 times this year and some of these cobwebs were there throughout the year. I’m not talking about hard to reach places either. We also noticed that some of the dishes and plates were a little grubby on arrival. A problem we had this time also was that when we arrived, the bins outside were full with nappy’s and dog waste. This is not the fault of the property however as it sits adjacent to a public footpath where I’m guessing people walking past have just used them instead of the council bins around the village it was within the busy season and I understand this does happen due to some people who have no respect. As we had nowhere to put our rubbish for the week, I had to make a trip to the nearest household waste centre which wasn’t ideal. We still enjoyed our stay and we still love the cottage. Just a shame about those few issues. We will be back again next year.
