Just a short stroll away is Outlaw's New Road to sample seafood delicacies and Port Gaverne Beach to discover rock pools. Port Isaac is a charming fishing village in Cornwall that offers plenty of attractions and activities for visitors. The village is known for its picturesque harbour and the many artists and craftspeople who have made their home here. There are also several geological features in the area, including the impressive Doyden Castle and Lundy Bay. Jump in the car to visit the seaside town of Polzeath, a popular destination for surfers, and home to some of the best beaches in the area. Visitors can enjoy hiking and exploring the area's many attractions, including Pentire Point, National Trust - Pentire, and Stepper Point. Be sure to venture to Padstow, the St Enodoc Church is a beautiful place of worship, and Stepper Point is a great spot for a walk or picnic. Port Isaac is one of Cornwall's true gems. A lovely fishing community lying in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains intact from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. There are many small character properties, as well as larger cliff-top retreats, with easy access to the village's numerous restaurants and shops. As the tide recedes, the sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools. It's only ten minutes from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer, and Rock, making it ideal for both romantic and family vacations. At the top of the village, there is plenty of parking.
