From your base in the centre of Port Isaac you can walk around the harbour and watch the boasts come and go, wander the narrow streets and look at the old buildings, or enjoy wonderful local produce in the pubs and restaurants. Hit the beach at Port Isaac or venture further to Polzeath and try a range of watersports including kayaking, surfing, and bodyboarding. Further afield, the town of Newquay is known for its excellent surfing spots, as well as being home to attractions like Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium, sure to be family favourites. Discover the quaint town of Padstow, another lovely fishing port, where you can enjoy a Padstow Sea Safari and hopefully catch sight of some of the local wildlife. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
