Beach View in St Ives is highly praised for its stunning views, modern decor, and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the property's proximity to beaches and town. While some mention traffic noise and a steep walk from the beach, the overall experience is deemed relaxing and enjoyable.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, with several reviews highlighting the immaculate condition and provision of clean towels. One mention of an unpleasant smell in a bathroom suggests a minor issue, but overall, the high standards of cleanliness are evident.
The location is celebrated for its amazing views and easy access to St Ives and beaches. The steep hill and traffic noise are noted drawbacks, but the convenience and scenic setting are well-regarded.
Comfort is generally praised, with mentions of comfortable beds and living spaces. Some guests found the sofas and cookware less adequate for their needs, indicating room for improvement.
Facilities are deemed excellent, particularly the kitchen and bathrooms. However, comments about inadequate cookware, the need for sharper knives, and issues with windows and noise insulation suggest some areas require attention.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The full length windows mean the view is always there and you can open wide to hear the sea and breathe in the sea air. Lovely to watch the changing tides and seals in the bay at times. Comfortable beds and living room, kitchen well equipped. The location is great, very short walk into the main town and although uphill coming back you can take a route which is a gradual incline rather than any steep slopes. The parking space is also very beneficial and rare for St Ives. There was a little bit of a smell in the upstairs shower room but only when the fan was on. The bath in the main room was fantastic. Would definitely return to Beach View.

The general cleanliness was fine and the property itself met the needs of our party. However, there was a smell eminating from the vent in the 2nd floor bathroom which was very unpleasant which permiated to the whole property if we been out for the day.. We had to open all the balcony patio doors to relieve the problem. The smell was detectable at all times in the bathroom. I feel this should be addressed. Also a fire blanket had opened on the living area of the property which did spoil the flow of the area and was a bit of an eyesore. We were given forewarning of this by a member of the Carbis Bay Holidays team whilst on our journey to the property. These two problems did somewhat take the shine off what is a really lovely comfortable property which met our needs beautifully. We would stay there in an instant if these things were addressed.
