Guests say

Mincarlo is a well-received holiday cottage in Carbis Bay, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate its proximity to the beach and local amenities, despite a steep hill. The property's layout suits families, and a welcome pack is noted. Some concerns over maintenance and child safety outdoors are mentioned, alongside occasional issues with heating and hot water.

The property is consistently described as very clean, with multiple reviews affirming its tidiness. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.

The location is generally praised for its proximity to the beach and local attractions, although the steep hill and construction work are noted drawbacks.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of comfy beds and a comfortable living space. However, some reviews point out issues with the heating system and outdoor furniture, slightly affecting the score.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the kitchen, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues, such as broken items and a lack of certain kitchen utensils, which impacts the score.

While a welcome pack is mentioned, there are no specific references to gifts, and thus it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness in this context.

It was nice to sit with a coffee in the morning & listen to the birds. The kitchen space is amazing & loved the bifold doors, which brought the outside in. The superking beds, pillows & towels are the best I've come across in a holiday let! 10/10 for that!! We found parking was a nightmare in the town, so we used the local taxis costing around £12 to the harbour, which wasn't bad split between 6 of us. We met a lovely taxi driver called Matt, he was so helpful & recommend lots of places for us to visit. It was great having Tesco around the corner, too. I would definitely recommend Mincarlo to anyone thinking of booking. You won't be dissapointed!

No hot water on two days!! Don’t ask for many home comforts but this is a must. Wouldn’t go there again!!!!

There were a couple of lightbulbs that were out and the garden could do with some TLC. The trampoline had a rip in the netting and the sun loungers weren’t useable. All in all a very nice property, we would 100% stay again.
