Perfectly positioned on Godrevy Terrace, at Seawinds, in St Ives, this duplex, penthouse has far reaching views of the Porthmeor Beach and beyond, from its living area and private balcony, the town centre shops, St Ives scenic railway and Tate Gallery all within a short walk.

Sleeping four, and welcoming children over three, it’s ideal for a family looking to enjoy all St Ives has to offer, or a romantic retreat.

A spacious open plan living area, with a mezzanine tv area, is flooded with natural light, through floor to ceiling windows and doors, that beautifully showcase the beaches, harbour and town, so whether you’re cooking, dining or relaxing you can enjoy the wonderful seaside setting, this bright and airy space, with underfloor heated oak flooring and original modern art, offers two wonderful areas to relax, cosy up on the comfortable blue corner sofa seating six and soak up the views or curl up on the mezzanine level Fama contemporary sofa with ottoman and enjoy the entertainment on the 40” television with Freeview, alternatively slide open the patio doors, step out onto your private seaward facing balcony and wow at the stunning sight of Porthmeor Beach, the Island and pretty harbour.

The kitchen/diner is positioned within the open plan living space to enjoy its superb views, ideal for entertaining and socialising with guests when preparing meals, an oak dining table and six vintage Jacobsen Series 7 chairs provide a wonderful setting for the whole party to dine in, alternatively the balcony offers an alfresco option, the contemporary kitchen will delight, with a large island, pale blue bespoke units and black slate work tops, it’s well-appointed with everything required for your your holiday including a washer/dryer.

There is a choice of two comfortable bedrooms, a master king sized and a twin, the first benefits from a private en-suite with enclosed shower and sliding patio doors for direct access to a rear balcony, which enjoys the sun in the afternoon, perfect for a relaxing coffee with a good book, the second is conveniently located next to the family bathroom, both are well presented with sumptuously dressed beds in Egyptian Cotton and offer ample storage space.

The family bathroom is located off the hallway, next to the second bedroom, sink into the deep bath with shower-over and enjoy a long relaxing soak, ready for your next adventure.

Two balconies and a roof terrace offer three fabulous outside spaces to relax and enjoy this penthouses wonderful setting, the seaward facing one is accessed via the living area, with panoramic sea views across Porthmeor Beach and beyond, the second is located to the rear, accessed via the master bedroom, both are furnished with a Magis Air table with seating, perfect for dining alfresco or drinks in the sun, the roof sun terrace, is reached via the patio doors from the mezzanine level, here you’ll find an outdoor storage cupboard, ideal for keeping all of the beach gear.

St Ives has a variety of cafes and restaurants to dine out including some with Michelin Plate awards, it’s a foodies delight with menus highlighting the local produce from farm to fork, the near by Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, showcases how the town has inspired many famous artists and is well worth a visit, the town centre is a great place to browse for gifts with many boutiques and art galleries dotted along its pretty cobbled streets.

If you love walking, head out on the nearby South West Coast Path, full of wild flora and fauna and a great way to spot the local sealife, you may even see dolphins, it runs along the cliff edge towards Zenor or Hayle, it’s a great way to reach Carbis Bay, this secluded stretch of golden sand is lapped by azure waters, like St Ives larger beaches, is lifeguarded at peak times, so perfect for water sports, for a relaxing return journey, hop on the scenic railway, it follows a similar route with mesmerising sea views all the way.

The little ones will love the animals at Newquay Zoo or feeding them at Paradise Park, near Hayle, a fabulous day out could start with a selfie at the iconic signpost at Land’s End, followed by stepping onto the stage at the nearby Minack Theatre, its dramatically cut out of a Cornish cliff with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop, ending the day, at low tide, walking out on a man-made causeway of granite setts, to the majestic St Michaels Mount, a castle set on its own island, near Penzance.

St. Ives is one of Cornwall's most picturesque harbour towns, with its winding lanes and quaint cottages clustered along the water's edge. Visitors can also enjoy the town's proximity to the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum as well as its many other attractions, including its beautiful beaches, excellent shopping, and thriving artistic community. It's easy to see why this is the most popular holiday destination in the county, what with its semi-Bohemian atmosphere and romantic vibe. Wildlife abounds, and there are wonderful coastal hikes and world-class surfing opportunities, as well as the Celtic secrets of the Land's End Peninsula, all within easy reach of the hotel. Excellent travel spot!

    It has everything you could want. The view is rather spoilt by the 'monstrosity'!!! But hoping when it's finished it won't be so intrusive. Leslie looked after us really well as usual ❤thank you so much. (Just another hint about possibly having a bigger mirror if not full length, but maybe just enough to see to knee length? Hoping to prevent underwear malfunctions

    Property was very clean with all mod cons and high grade furnishings and bedding. We have no complaints at all, it is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Steep climbs back up the hill to the flat, which is only mins from the centre, but that is St Ives for you !
