The Point in Polzeath is a well-regarded holiday cottage, praised for its superb location with stunning views and proximity to the beach. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the additional space and privacy offered by the annexe. The property's layout, particularly the upstairs kitchen/diner, is a highlight, contributing to an enjoyable stay.
The property generally meets cleanliness standards, but there are mentions of 'wear and tear' and some guests noted areas that required attention, such as grubby fridge handles and utensils that needed washing before use.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its spectacular views, proximity to the beach, and local amenities, making it an ideal spot for beachgoers and those seeking picturesque sunsets.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the linen clean and fresh. The property offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, although some guests experienced issues with hot water regulation in showers.
The Point is well-furnished with a fully functioning kitchen and good amenities. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as problematic showers, non-working TVs, and an oven not reaching temperature.

The Point is an exceptionally, well-presented house, perfectly elevated above Polzeath beach. A short walk away from the beach, shops and cafes, this property is a perfect Cornish haven, sleeping eight guests in four light and airy bedrooms, with off road parking. The south facing, enclosed garden is an exceptional place for the sun bathers amongst you or a great area to play with the family if you can keep your eyes off the views. The stylish kitchen and dining area takes up the whole of the first floor, the floor to ceiling windows framing the perfect panorama, giving a splendid place to chill and relax. A separate annex houses the fourth bedroom with en-suite, kitchenette and the laundry room, the perfect place for a visiting couple. The small town of Polzeath is the essence of a traditional seaside holiday, water sport enthusiasts will love the bracing white waters and children will enjoy exploring the rock pools for crabs and other underwater creatures. The Point at Polzeath is a lovely place for a stroll or look around the fashionable shops in Rock. Catch the ferry over to Padstow for the latest flavours of chefs like Paul Ainsworth and Rick Stein.
The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
