Tucked away in beautiful surroundings, in the village of Delabole, lies this spacious holiday cottage, The Farmhouse. Upon arrival you will find ample parking spaces, but take a moment to appreciate the well-maintained gardens before getting to know your new home-from-home. After a day of exploring, step into the spacious lounge and get comfortable on the leather sofa, turning on the 70” Smart TV and catching up on your favourite shows. Adjacent lies the first bedroom and second bedroom, a sumptuous king-size with Smart TV and adjoining twin room with high ceilings and an en-suite shower room. This tiny community, which was once the source of the best building and ornamental slate in the world, is only 2.5 miles from the north Cornish coastline's towering cliffs and breathtaking views. It's a good vacation home base since it's conveniently located for taking the South West Coastal Path, visiting the high terrain of adjacent Bodmin Moor, or relaxing on the beach at nearby Trebarwith Strand. The picturesque surfing beach at Polzeath is only nine miles from the quiet harbour village of Port Isaac, the town of Tintagel, with its tourist attractions, and King Arthur's fabled castle. Five minutes away lies Slaughtersbridge, the site of what is said to have been King Arthur's final battle, and a journey up the coast to the north will bring you to Crackington Haven's stunning bay. an area that is highly central to a huge variety of locations and activities while being away from the main tourist hordes. The nearby Delabole Quarry is a fascinating tourist destination with beautiful scenery. It is the starting point for wonderful country hikes.
