Guests say

Guests generally appreciate the cottage's cleanliness, peaceful location, and comfort. The property is well-received for its large garden and proximity to local amenities. Some concerns were raised about maintenance, particularly the cooker and bathroom facilities, but these were balanced by positive comments on the responsive owners and the provision of a welcome pack.

The majority of reviews praise the property's cleanliness, with repeated mentions of its spotless condition. A few isolated comments about odours suggest room for improvement, but overall, the high standard of cleanliness is consistently acknowledged.

The location is described as peaceful and quiet, with good access to local attractions and amenities. The proximity to Truro and the availability of local walks are appreciated, although some guests advised caution when walking at night due to the lack of footpaths.

Guests find the property comfortable, noting the comfy beds and sofas. However, some guests mentioned that the single beds are small and the pillows a bit flat, suggesting that while the overall comfort is good, there is some room for improvement.

The property is well-equipped, but several reviews mention the need for updates, particularly the cooker and bathroom facilities. Positive notes include the availability of Wi-Fi and a well-maintained garden. The mixed feedback indicates that while the facilities are adequate, some updates could enhance the experience.

The provision of a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits is mentioned positively, indicating the owners' thoughtfulness. However, as such gestures are not guaranteed and may vary, guests should consider this a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.
