Park off-road and make your way over to this cheery property, a quirky base with a selection of amenities within. Decorated with a trellis and herb garden, enter into a dreamy hut with a studio layout sporting a double bed, wood-panelled walls, a dining space for two and a kitchen space with hob, kettle and cool box where guests can cook dinner together. There is a shower room for your refreshment. Surrounded by pretty gardens and a slate wall, dine alfresco using the barbecue and enjoy the countryside air beside the mature shrubs and extensive lawn space, planning your next adventure over a bottle of fizz. After enjoying breakfast outside, head out into the local area, where the beach is within an easy distance. Porteath is a delightful countryside location, with views across the farmland. From here guests can head to the coastal walks through Lundy Bay, Epphaven Cove, Doyden Castle and beyond. For more amenities and attractions, including a pub, eateries and convenience stores, head over to the coastal hamlet of Polzeath, where guests can enjoy a hearty meal out and stock up on essentials. Here there is also a lovely sandy beach and a local surf school for those looking for an action-packed afternoon. From here, enjoy a game or two at either St Enodoc Golf Club or The Point, or visit Padstow where there is a local museum, the National Lobster Hatchery and boat trips to explore the local wildlife. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
