You are well off the beaten track and set away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist attractions, yet still only a short drive from many of them. There is a farm nature trail which is in an area designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and links up with the Saints Way Footpath.
North Cornwall’s many attractions include the coastal villages of Padstow, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants, Polzeath with its sandy surfing beach, Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series ’Doc Martin’, Watergate Bay, and down the coast to Newquay with its famous surfing beach, zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium. Also within easy reach are the beautiful house and gardens at Lanhydrock (National Trust) and the many gardens on the south coast of Cornwall. A visit to the Eden Project is a must, or hire a bike and cycle the Camel Trail which runs from Padstow, through Wadebridge to Bodmin. For those looking for more excitement, try the cycle hub at Lanhydrock and Cardinham Woods. Beach 11 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 6 miles.
