3 Major Terrace in Seaton, Devon, is a spacious and well-equipped cottage ideal for large groups, offering multiple bathrooms and kitchens. Its central location is praised for proximity to the seafront and local amenities. Guests appreciate the property's layout and the welcome hamper, though some mention issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and limited parking.
Guests have had mixed experiences with cleanliness. While some found the property to be clean and well-kept, others reported issues such as unpleasant odours, unclean outdoor areas, and leftover items from previous occupants. These inconsistencies have led to a slightly above-average score.
The location of the property is highly regarded due to its central position in Seaton, close to the town, beach, and park. The convenience for exploring the local area and the coast path is a significant positive aspect for guests.
The property is generally considered comfortable, with ample space, well-equipped kitchens, and comfortable beds. However, some guests experienced issues with heating and dampness, which affected their comfort. The presence of steep stairs was also noted.
Facilities are well-received for accommodating large groups, with sufficient bathrooms and kitchen amenities. However, maintenance issues such as Wi-Fi problems, non-working appliances, and heating control have impacted the score. Parking limitations have also been a concern.
The welcome hamper was a delightful touch, mentioned positively by guests. However, as not all reviews reference gifts and to ensure expectations are managed, it is noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.
