Guests say

Bluebell Cottage in Seaton is praised for its cosy charm, excellent location near the town and seafront, and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the pretty garden and the convenience of a parking permit. While some guests suggest improvements in cleanliness and maintenance, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests have mentioned the need for a deeper clean in the kitchen and some issues with the bins and bathroom cleanliness on arrival. However, these seem to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.

The cottage's location is consistently highlighted as ideal, with its proximity to shops, pubs, the seafront, and a nearby car park. It serves as a great base for exploring the surrounding areas.

The comfort of the beds and sofas is frequently commended, and the cottage is described as cosy and welcoming. The steep stairs are noted, which may affect those with mobility issues or small children.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-received heating system and a lovely garden. Some guests experienced issues with the parking permit and suggested the inclusion of more pictures of the outdoor space on the website.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in gestures like leaving scones for guests upon arrival. While such gifts are appreciated, they are a personal touch and may not be a consistent offering for all stays.

This is a beautiful cottage in a great location, and this was our second visit. It's so cosy and well presented, and feels like a lovely home away from home. We'll definitely be looking to book it again. The garden at the back is fully enclosed, so great for dogs too. We love Bluebell Cottage.

We had a glorious week in Bluebell Cottage. It was very cosy and met all our needs. We particularly appreciated the lovely, sunny back garden, the quality and comfort of the beds and bedding, and the parking permit which meant we didn't have to worry about parking at all.

Gorgeous cottage, fabulous location. Very dog friendly, absolutely loved it. Couldn't fault it. Would definitely stay again.
