A short walk from the apartment takes you to the mile-long sea front and beach which is popular with beachgoers as well as those wishing to enjoy a spot of sea fishing or paddle boarding. The town is home to an array of restaurants and popular eateries although your holiday won’t be complete without enjoying some fish and chips while sitting on the seafront or having a barbeque on the beach. The stunning Axe Estuary and Seaton Wetlands centre is a haven for birds and wildlife, or why not take a trip on the unique Seaton Tramway as it follows a route alongside the river Axe to the historic market town of Colyton.
Situated in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, the area offers visitors so much to see and do, from scenic walks on the renowned South West Coastal Path taking in pretty seaside villages including Beer and Branscombe. Why not try your hand at fossil hunting and find your own fossils on the nearby beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Other popular days out include the Regency town of Sidmouth or The Donkey Sanctuary, home to hundreds of donkeys and a firm favourite of the young and old alike.

Seaton is a seaside town in East Devon on the south coast. It faces onto Lyme Bay, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with red cliffs to one side and white cliffs on the other. Axmouth and Beer are nearby. A sea wall provides access to the mostly shingle beach stretching for about a mile, and a small harbour. Seaton is on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the town offers a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs.
