I booked the cottage about 4 weeks before we went. We wanted somewhere close to the beach and the location was great, within a few minutes walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs to go to to eat out or an Aldi and Tesco within 5-10 minutes walk if you wanted to buy groceries. Car parking is easy enough with the parking permit and all instructions on how to get to each of the car parks. I only used the Orchard car park as it had an EV charger. The cottage itself suited us, myself, 2 kids and small dog. The kitchen well equipped and we stayed in for dinner a few nights. Can I just report the oven seal does not work and so when using the oven, I realised after one ruined meal, I had to stand with myself against it to close the seal so the oven didnt lose heat. The cottage was clean enough when we arrived but there was musty smell on entering - perhaps from the bathroom. The courtyard could do with a bit of a clean up and whilst there are separate bins in the cottage for recycling various items, there was one bin outside allocated to the cottage which already had rubbish in. I would recommend this because of its proximity to the beach but I think a little pricey, even with a discounted rate. Also you can't let dogs out into the courtyard so be prepared to get up in the middle of the night to walk them, like I did. We were out every day for most of the day so used it as a base to sleep and a couple of nights to cook and eat in.

Great location and had some nice homely touches with photos /map of local area. Useful to have the washing machine and airer but shame kitchen cleanliness hygiene did let it down a bit. Felt I had to wash/ saucepans/glassware and mugs etc before could use them on arrival. Nice information pack with local walks etc was helpful and appreciated little touches that tried make it cosy and welcoming. Very convenient amenities nearby ,close to beach/shops just not quite same standard as other cottages we've stayed at with dog for less money, so was a little disappointing in comparison.
