Step out the door and onto several scenic walks and trails crossing the countryside, just two miles away is Haldon Forest, perfect for thrill seekers, with mountain biking, zip wiring and orienteering opportunities. Riding stables are a walk away and the endless charm of the moors only a 25 minute drive away. Visit the River Teign, a wonderful sight with a chance to kayak along its waters or head to the waterfall of Canonteign Falls, a sight not to be missed. For a change of scenery, visit the cathedral city of Exeter, home to a plethora of shops, pubs, restaurants, and remarkable architecture, ranging from its Gothic Cathedral, well-preserved city walls and its 11th century castle, surrounded by the landscaped Northernhay Gardens.
