Bedrooms at Heron House all have TV, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. One bedroom has a large private bath/shower room 4 steps over the landing, the other two bedrooms are en suite.
A traditional English breakfast is served in the family dining room around one table, together with a fruit compot, Greek-style yoghurt with honey, a range of cereals or porridge. Whenever possible all the preserves are homemade.
The house has been lovingly restored, but maintains its original character in the drawing room, which has a log fire, the terrace and the beautiful walled garden.
Wonderful countryside surrounds Bampton, which is set in the foothills of Exmoor National Park. A 1-minute walk brings guests to local shops and restaurants.
