Guests say

Seascape Retreat is a well-received lodge with guests praising its cleanliness, comfort, and the added luxury of a hot tub. The property is noted for its spaciousness and homely feel, making it a cosy retreat. The surrounding area is appreciated for its beauty and tranquillity, with convenient access to local attractions. While some minor maintenance issues and difficulties with the wifi were mentioned, the overall experience is reported to be very positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

The majority of guests found the lodge to be exceptionally clean, with several reviews highlighting the cleanliness as a positive aspect. There was one mention of the accommodation being dirty, but this seems to be an outlier compared to the overall feedback.

The location is generally praised for being peaceful, beautiful, and convenient for local attractions. However, some guests noted that the lodge felt hemmed in by other lodges and that the view was less than expected. The proximity to a roundabout and the necessity of driving were seen as downsides by one reviewer.

Guests frequently commented on the comfort of the lodge, mentioning the comfortable furniture and beds. The spaciousness and homely atmosphere contributed to the high level of comfort experienced by visitors.

Facilities like the hot tub and wifi are appreciated, though there were several mentions of maintenance issues such as minor repairs needed and problems with the hot tub. The wifi was problematic for some guests, which affects the score in this category.

While some guests mentioned receiving a welcome bottle of Prosecco, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

The distinctive towns of Lynton and Lynmouth, with their clifftop railway, are to the east of Ilfracombe, and Clovelly and Hartland are to the west. and a proper sized dining table. Bedrooms decent size with comfortable beds and powerful en-suite shower plus separate bath/shower room. All clean and well looked after. Hot tub was lovely and hot and ready for when we arrived. Would benefit from some sort of screen to give a bit more privacy. Located on a well kept park close to beaches and the local towns. Staff on the park were very friendly, and shout out to the staff and food at "The Depot" pub located on site. In summary, a great place to stay.
