Two bedroom spacious apartment with distant views, and only a short walk to the village of Mortehoe with pubs serving good food, post office stores and pretty church. There are 5 steps up to the front communal door but once inside the apartment is all on one level. Two bedrooms a twin and a kingsize bed lead off the main hallway with lovely tiled family bathroom, the master bedroom also benefits from its own ensuite shower room and access to the front balcony. The main room comprises of a kitchen area and living area with dining table and comfy sofas with patio doors opening out onto the front balcony which spreads the width of the apartment. At the opposite end a door leads out into a fully enclosed high walled patio area, great for storing surfboards or bikes. Guests can enjoy the fabulous surfing beaches nearby including Woolacombe, Putsborough and Croyde or if you prefer the quieter more secluded beaches, Rockham and Barricane are only a short walk away. Breathtaking walks can be enjoyed straight from the apartment following the coastal footpath to the lighthouse and beyond, as Schooners welcomes a pet this is the ideal spot to enjoy all that this part of North Devon has to offer.

    I had a wonderful stay at Schooners. The property was clean, warm, well equipped and had everything I could have wanted for my stay. The property was easily found, and the big parking space right outside was perfect. The weather was great for walking the coast path in November and the bus service from the post office made it fairly easy for me to get around without needing to drive. The Chichester Arms down the road had friendly staff and did some lovely food. WiFi was a little poor at times but that is the only very tiny negative I had of the property. I would certainly stay at Schooners again if I return to area.

    Nice size warm & comfy flat No views to speak of. Most of the rooms have fire doors which take a moment to open & seem to bang shut, I am glad no one else was in our section as sure you would have heard these doors shutting
