This property is situated a short drive to the stunning beach at Woolacombe Bay. This beach is a firm favourite and is manned by lifeguards during the summer months. The town itself has a range of shops and a number of eateries. In nearby Ilfracombe, Tunnels Beach is a privately-owned complex of beachside tunnels hand-carved in the 1820s, offering a tidal pool, interesting rock pools and a stunning backdrop for keen photographers, as well as being home to an abundance of wildlife, including peregrine falcons, seals and even porpoises. This is a great location for exploring the North Devon coast. Ilfracombe is just 4.5 miles, and Exmoor National Park, Lynton and Lynmouth are all within 20 miles.

On entering the property on the ground floor, guests will find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has a dining table seating four, and comfortable lounge seating beside a Smart TV. The bright kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a convenient ground-floor WC. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, the first of which is a double room with an en-suite shower room and views out over the lake. The second room is a twin room, and there is also a bathroom with a bath and WC.

Outside, there are shared lawn areas to both the front and rear of the property, perfect for enjoying a picnic lunch and uninterrupted views of the lake where you can often see ducks and ducklings. Guests may also make use of the complex’s shared children's play parks scattered around the park and the outdoor heated swimming pool, which is open from Whitsun through to the end of September on a reserve system, which can be booked in advance. There are plenty of nature walks on site too.
