Quiet and remote up a very long track but that suited us perfectly. The barn is very cosy, despite its size, even with there only being 2 people (+ a very large Deerhound!) in the property (we booked a larger place in case any children/grandchildren could join for a few days but in the event they didn’t have enough holiday left!) We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend. It’s quite a way from coastal areas such as Combe Martin, Ilfracombe etc, but we took off for the day and it was no problem!

The property is spacious, light and airy. The beds were comfortable although the bedding could do with updating. The master bedroom had no bath mat so had to step out onto towel. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend to family and friends.

Has everything you need in a holiday home. Dog friendly too. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone. The only issue we had was, which couple gets the small room and who gets the enormous upstairs room, with ensuit and lovely views.
