Guests generally appreciate the cleanliness, comfort, and location of the lodge, with its proximity to local amenities and attractions. The property is well-equipped and maintained, offering a peaceful and welcoming stay. Some minor issues with maintenance and on-site facilities were noted.
The lodge is frequently described as spotless and immaculate, with only a few mentions of dusty blinds. The high standard of cleanliness contributes positively to the guests' experience.
The location is praised for being close to local amenities and nice places to visit. However, some guests noted the lack of on-site facilities and the necessity to drive, which slightly affected the convenience.
The lodge is considered comfortable, with comfortable beds and sufficient space for relaxation. There are some remarks about the property being less suitable for those over fifty due to the distance from parking.
While the lodge is well-equipped, there are several complaints about maintenance issues such as problems with the oven and electricity meter. The presence of ongoing refurbishment next door also impacted the peacefulness of the stay.
Guests have noted the inclusion of cleaning products and other thoughtful touches, enhancing their stay. However, as these extras are not guaranteed, they should be considered a pleasant bonus rather than an expectation.

Lovely clean bedding and towels. Nice extra thoughts as Tin foil, coffee pot, wet clothes, towel rack with plenty of space in bathroom. Reuse of an old one pound coin dropping through the meter amusing!
