Perfectly placed, it's a short walk into Dartmouth town centre, albeit uphill on the way home, with all it's restaurants, shops & pubs. Lots of lovely walks on your doorstep, as well as the ferries and steam train to various other places. The parking permit for the town centre car park was very much appreciated & useful. We hardly used the car, so it was great to be able to safely park, and not worry about the where the car was. You can park outside the house for loading/unloading & then the car park is only about 15 mins walk away from the house, so all very easy - as was key collection/drop off at the Coast & Country offices (just over the road from the car park).
