The Quarterdeck is a stunning one bedroom apartment with gorgeous views overlooking the beautiful River Dart towards Dartmouth and the imposing Britannia Royal Naval College. This truly romantic retreat has been completely refurbished and includes an open plan lounge and a spiral staircase that leads up through exposed roof joists to a very comfortable built in double bed and sitting area. Close by is the wonderfully welcoming Ship Inn serving superb food and the Steam Packet Inn both with log fires and massive views over the River Dart. The village stores are a few yards away and supply all the basics.

Living/Dining[if gte mso 9]>The lounge/dining area is open plan with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. From the dining table there are views over the historic Steam Railway, the bustling Marina and the beautiful River Dart with Dartmouth in the distance. There is a comfortable sofa with foot rests, an old cast iron range with a warm flame effect fire, colourful rugs, throws and cushions and a new big flat screen TV which unfortuantely doesn't have built in DVD. There are also copious books and hooks, a wardrobe and cupboard for  clothes and walking boots and some nautical themed decorations.   Free wifi is available.KitchenThe kitchen is fully fitted and includes electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, sink and drainer, portable wooden island providing additional work surface and ample cupboard and shelf space. There are also outstanding views over the river from the kitchen window.

Sleeping[if gte mso 9]>

A truly romantic treat. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor level above and is accessed via a spiral staircase which leads up through exposed wooden roof joists. A large dormer window floods light into this area of the apartment. There is ample seating  with  shelves for drinks, books and the obligatory binoculars to study the ever changing scenes below. With a large built in double bed, sail loft doors, portholes, curtains, captains chest of drawers and views of the river from your bed it is easy to imagine that you are at sea and have just climbed into your bunk space! Especially delightful on cold stormy nights! An additional sofa -bed is now available for an extra guest or two.

BathroomOff the lounge is a bright, warm and tastefully fitted new shower room including a white sink and WC, heated towel rail, extraction fan and a large wall cupboard plus lots of hooks.
