Sleeping four guests, the versatile tent suits couples, small families, and groups of friends. The walking and cycling routes in the area are endless, and you’ll also be just 10 miles from the South West Coast Path. Spend your days exploring Dartmoor’s rugged landscape, or head south for a traditional day at the seaside at Bigbury-on-Sea or Salcombe. In the evenings, share stories and delicious food around the firepit.

The canvas safari tent has a wooden frame and a pitched roof, and its open-plan living space is bright and airy. The interiors carefully combine rustic chic with home comforts to create the ultimate rural retreat. A comfortable corner sofa is nestled next to a wood burner, and there are also charging points and power sockets for your gadgets. The compact kitchen is perfect for rustling up light snacks, which you can enjoy together on the terrace. Sliding doors lead to two bedrooms – a double and a bunk bedroom – and there is also a handy shower room. Outside, a tranquil haven awaits. As well as the terrace, there is also a wood-fired hot tub to sink into at the end of the day, and a firepit for toasting marshmallows under the stars.

Nearby Buckfastleigh (11 miles) has a lot to offer. As well as being a vibrant market town, Buckfastleigh is also home to several excellent visitor attractions. Soak up the serene beauty of Buckfast Abbey with its breathtaking gardens and impressive church, or chug through the countryside on the steam trains of the South Devon Railway, which run from the town to Totnes. There are some fantastic family attractions within 16 miles of the tent, including Woodlands Family Theme Park and Pennywell Farm.
