Amidst the beauty of the South Hams in the thriving village of Loddiswell, you will find this beautiful barn conversion, Crosscombe Barn. Presenting quirky reverse level accomodation with the sleeping spots on the ground floor and the social space on the first floor, this property is well suited to a variety of group needs. Park up in the off-road parking spaces and make your way past the charming courtyard; a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee with a good book, before stepping inside to discover the three elegantly-presented bedrooms; take your pick from a double, a twin with its own en-suite shower room and a single bed with a truckle bed beneath, each room has a homely interior and plenty of storage space, with this floor being perfect for those less able too with the sparkling family bathroom being here. Take the stairs up to the first floor where the character of the property continues, with a spacious open-plan living area, with wooden beams framing the room alongside a warming woodburning stove, the room boasts a farmhouse feel, with plenty of space for the whole family to unwind before the television in the plush seating area. Gather together around the dining table, with the kitchen area offering all you could need for a self-catered stay, you'll be able to prepare those family-favourite meals in no time. Spend time sitting within the attractive window seat reading a good book amidst the natural light flowing through the room, or head outside to find a lovely lawned garden adjacent to the property, a lovely spot to soak in your countryside surroundings. Take a stroll into the local village of Loddiswell, home to both a local shop and a welcoming pub, you can find all the essentials within walking distance of the property, with the restored former mill being worth exploring where you can now find a wonderful garden centre, restaurant and deli! Resting within the South Hams, you can find plenty of outdoor adventure within easy reach; head towards the coast to find activities such as surfing, canoeing and sailing, perfect for those wishing to try out something new, with both Bantham and Hope Cove boasting their own beautiful beaches, also perfect for sun soaking or a leisurely stroll. For a more challenging ramble, join the South West Coast Path, leading you past the National Trust wonder of South Milton Sands where you can experience remarkable sunsets and views over the Thurlestone Rock archway, it's a true spectacle to be seen, with plenty of opportunities for nature spotting along the way too. Loddiswell is a village resting at the heart of the South Hams in Devon. Within the village there is a good selection of shops, inns and a restored former mill now home to a garden centre, restaurant and deli! In reach of Bantham, Hope Cove, Mothecombe and Milton Sands, there's so much to explore around Loddiswell.
