Greystone is a spacious detached house with fabulous views out to sea and within just a few minutes downhill walk to the sandy beaches. Greystone is perfect for a family or two families looking to explore the area. The single storey accommodation is presented and furnished to a very good standard and well equipped throughout.
The entrance leads into a lobby with door to the main hallway and access to the light and spacious sitting room with two double sofas, armchair and wood burning stove. French doors lead out to the balcony. There is a open-plan fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area with wooden table and chairs. The utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.
The main bedroom has excellent sea views, double bed, and en suite shower room. The second double with double bed has excellent sea views, and en suite shower room. The third bedroom has two single beds, and en suite shower room with shower. The fourth bedroom has two single beds. There is also a family bathroom with bath, shower (over) and separate cloakroom.
To the front and side of the house is a superb decked balcony with stunning views. BBQ Provided. There are mature areas of garden to the front and side of the property with a good sized lawn to the rear.
The village of Hope Cove has two hotels, pub, shop and cafes. Conveniently located about five miles from both Kingsbridge and Salcombe, this compact village truly comes to life in the summer and has everything you need for a relaxing break.
The picturesque fishing village of Hope Cove lies in a sheltered bay on South Devon’s coastline, offering superb views over Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island. A choice destination for families, two beaches offer soft sand for sandcastle building, plus rock pools great for entertaining children. The town remains a fishing village where crabs and lobsters are still landed, however it was once used by smugglers. Many ships have perished around the coast and the wrecks that lie beneath the waves make it a popular spot for divers. Above the beach there are a number of pubs and restaurants, including the popular café bar ‘The Cove’. The coastal footpath can be joined from here and leads towards the sandy beaches of Thurlestone and Bigbury-on-Sea in one direction, and the sailing town of Salcombe in the other.
