2 Poundstone Court is a comfortably appointed, single storey apartment in an exclusive gated complex with stunning panoramic views towards the beaches of East Portlemouth and up to South Pool creek. The apartment is situated in Cliff Road, just 5-10 minutes' walk from the town centre and is within easy access of the local shops, restaurants and picturesque waterfront.
The well-equipped kitchen has a range of stylish fitted units with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the garage. The living/dining area is a spacious and comfortably furnished open plan room with lovely estuary views, large sofa, two armchairs, flat screen TV and two sets of sliding doors to the balcony. The dining area has a table and four chairs and also benefits from the panoramic views.
The bedrooms are tastefully appointed with fitted wardrobes; the Master bedroom has a wooden-framed 5’ King-size bed, fitted wardrobe and drawers. The second bedroom has two wooden-framed single beds. Each en suite bathroom has a bath with shower (over), w.c. and wash-hand basin.
Outside, a paved balcony, with outdoor furniture and some overhanging roof for shade/protection, runs the full length of the apartment and offers magnificent 180-degree views along the estuary and out to sea. There is allocated parking for one car in the garage and one in front of the garage. This apartment is on the 1st floor and can be accessed via lift.
Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.

 The bedrooms are large and airy, with one having a good sized en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath and the other an en-suite shower and toilet.  The kitchen is small but well equipped but could be improved with decent coffee making facilities. We needed 2 car parking spaces which this property is advertised as having but the one in the garage was unusable unless it was for a very small car as there was a long bench with tools sticking out making parking impossible.  Fortunately we were out of season, so could find parking on nearby roads for one car without too much trouble. In high season that could prove tricky and expensive.Â
