Beachstone, 6 Island Place is a superbly appointed property, resting within a prominent position in the resort town of Salcombe. This superb base promises to charm holiday makers with its beauty, community and simplicity, offering a traditional seaside holiday for the whole family. This stylish accommodation boasts an elevated position with uninterrupted views across the moorings to Snape’s Point. At entry level, Beachstone hosts a stunning, contemporary open-plan interior, where the entire family can gather to enjoy a relaxing evening in. The sitting area, dining area and kitchen together form a single space which opens seamlessly onto the front and rear terraced gardens. The designated cook of the group will be delighted by the quality appliances which include a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and oven, which are complemented by the dining table made from two enormous solid oak beams. After dinner, unwind within the sitting area, where you can look out the beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows across the creek and roofs of Island Street boat builders. Contemporary coastal living continues on the second-floor where the wonderful master bedroom is situated, offering an opportunity to look out across the estuary as the sun rises. The property is completed by a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, ensuring a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit your group. To the outside, you have exclusive use of the largest front terrace at Island Place with outdoor furniture from which to enjoy the uninterrupted views. If you don’t feel like cooking one evening, a short stroll will bring you to a selection of pubs and restaurants to suit all ages and tastes. Whilst staying at Beachstone, spend some time at the glorious North Sand beach or brush up on the local history by visiting the National Trust Property of Overbeck's. This contemporary property is ideal for a family or group looking to enjoy stylish accommodation, a stunning harbour town, and nearby sandy beaches.
Salcombe is a delightful town for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. Within the town you will find two beaches, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s. The town houses a superb selection of pubs, restaurants and shops to suit all. Here, you can enjoy an adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip.
