The village, a 7 minute walk away, has two excellent pubs, a thriving church, farm shop and the wonderful shingle beach of Slapton Sands at Torcross a mile further on. The cottage is fresh and bright, is most attractively furnished and provides a perfect base to explore the miles of cliff walks around Start Point, golden sandy coves and beaches close by, bird watching at Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve, and horse riding and golf are all within easy distance.

The village, a 7 minute walk away, has two excellent pubs, both well known for good food, a thriving church, a farm shop and the wonderful shingle beach of Slapton Sands at Torcross a mile further on. The cottage, a recent conversion, is fresh and bright, is most attractively furnished and provides a perfect base to explore the miles of cliff walks around Start Point, golden sandy coves and beaches close by (one for each day of the week), bird watching at Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve, horse riding and golf are all within easy distance.

Accommodation:

Side entrance door into the smart new fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Archway through to a spacious living room with wood burner, two comfortable sofas, dining table to seat 4, Freeview Satellite TV with DVD, Hi-Fi system, MP3 and iPod connector and French doors that open to the front of the cottage. Door to inner hallway. A double bedroom has a 6ft bed and double aspect windows with views over the countryside. Twin bedroom with 3ft beds. Family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC.

Outside:

At one side of the cottage is a paved patio area provided with table and chairs and overlooks neighbouring fields and a large pond. Below the parking area (this is shared with the owners) and beside the driveway is a lawn area with apple trees. The lane is bordered by bluebell woods, that are available to explore and a large pond in an adjacent field provides an opportunity to watch the local wildlife.

Parking: Ample parking on shared driveway. EV charging permitted via a type 2 7 kW charging point -payment is via Fuuse app charged at £0.50 kW-guests to provide own charging cable.
