The living area is open plan, with solid Swedish oak flooring throughout and a fantastic wood burner for those chilly nights. There's a large curved-screen TV/DVD and the latest built in sound system, and local artwork adds a stylish touch of local charm. French windows open out to the back garden, letting you drift in and out as much as you want on a summer’s day.

The kitchen won’t fail to impress. Beneath granite worktops you’ll find integrated Neff appliances (including an under counter wine fridge!) all accompanied by a full complement of tools to please the most demanding chef. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The stylish concrete dining table and retro chairs are to the side of the kitchen, making it easy to chat whilst preparing and serving - ideally with a glass of something cold in your hand!

Head upstairs via the imaginatively lit solid timber and glass staircase to the three bedrooms which are sumptuous, cosy and stylishly presented in an understated coastal theme. The master has an en suite shower room and fabulous views out to the ley and the sea and beach beyond. The same views can be enjoyed from the double, whilst the twin looks out over the pretty back garden. After a long day at the beach, soak in the family bathroom’s freestanding bath or refresh under a powerful drench shower in before wrapping up in sumptuous Turkish towels.

Outside, there’s seating for six in the front garden overlooking the water; the perfect spot to soak up the morning sun over breakfast.

Within yards of the front gate you are on the sea front, a short stroll from the renowned Start Bay Inn or The Seabreaze café with its seaside style décor. From here, the south west coast path will lead you north or south to spectacular headlands and stunning beaches. Follow the coast path and you will come to Beesands where you may be tempted to stop off at the famous Cricket Inn or the Britannia.

Or if you fancy venturing further afield, the tiny village of Torcross is yet just a stone’s throw from the sea and a short drive to the chic towns of Dartmouth , Kingsbridge and Salcombe.
