Beulah is a delightful semi detached Victorian property in Strete, a quintessential village, close to the beautiful South Devon coast.

This traditional property has been very well maintained and updated to offer stylish comfortable family accommodation whilst retaining original features - Victorian fireplaces, boarded wooden floors and sash windows. The wood burning stove and underfloor heating to the living area and bathrooms are an added attraction and certainly keep you cosy in the cooler months. Beulah has a very pretty mature garden with far reaching views of the countryside, coast and out to sea – the perfect place for alfresco dining.

The village of Strete is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visit nearby Dartmouth, historical Naval port and home to the Royal Naval College which stands proud on the hillside overlooking the river. Come and stay in August and join in the regatta fun… not to be missed! The town itself has some fabulous fish restaurants, delis, independent shops and art galleries and has something going on throughout the year with the popular food festival in October and Candlelit Dartmouth in early December. Back at the property, there are some fabulous walks close by and you can take the dogs too – the owners are happy for 2 dogs to accompany you during your stay.

Of course we all love the beach… and the beaches here won't disappoint. You'll find the delightful and unspoilt Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands both award winning and within walking distance of the property.

Accommodation

Ground floor: Entrance Room to laundry area: Fridge freezer, washing Machine, steps down into Kitchen/Diner: Well equipped with table for 6, integrated dishwasher, 4 ring gas hob, grill and separate oven, fridge, cafetiere and a DAB radio player.

Living Room: Corner settee, blanket box with cushioned top for extra seating, single chair, swivel chair and footstool, large foot stool, freestanding lamp, coffee table, decorative feature fireplace, working wood burner. Samsung TV with soundbar and games with Free view and Netflix. Wi-Fi is also installed. Small down stairs cupboard with iron/ironing board and bread maker.

Bathroom: Small freestanding roll top bath with shower mixer hose, W.C., wash handbasin, mirror and wall cabinet.

First Floor: Via the original wooden staircase.

Bedroom 1: Double bed, decorative washstand, dressing table and chair, rustic bedside boxes with matching lamps.

Bedroom 2: Double bed with bedside cabinet and lamp.

Bedroom 3: Rear bedroom with lovely sea views, double bed, 2  freestanding chairs, dressing table with mirror and seat.

Small Upstairs Bathroom: W.C., Wash handbasin and shower cubicle with large overhead shower and separate hose.

Outside: Patio area with wooden bench table, a separate wooden bench, steps down in a lawned area with many plants and mature shrubs.

Parking: On the A379 from Dartmouth into Strete, park in the diagonal bays which is free of charge with no specified days or times. The spaces are just past the bus stop.
