We had a wonderful stay at the hideout. Perfect for us and our dog, Polly. There was everything we needed and the owners were lovely. We will return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking peace and a central location.

The cabin has everything you need and the host was very welcoming and helpful. Great location, with beautiful views and a short walk into town.

Nice bottle of wine left by the owners and shampoo/conditioner and liquid soap in the bathroom, plus dog treats and chocolate biscuits. It has all the facilities required such as small oven, microwave and toaster. The bed is comfy, It is a slight trek down to the cabin around another property and over two lawns with stones on to make getting to it easier. Also to get to town, you can go down another field, through a gate and you need to grab onto some rope to get to the path. I thought this quite exciting like an Enid Blyton book. The cabin is not for the infirm. This is made clear in the description. It is definitely like being cut off from the world and I would return. Views are amazing. There are binoculars at the property. The owners made contact a couple of times to make sure everything was ok. Not much power in the shower. Also pack light as there isn’t much storage space for belongings. We were lucky with the weather and it’s nice to sit out on the deck.
