Set between a wealth of local amenities and the shoreline, The Lodge accommodates up to four guests, making it the perfect dwelling for a family break. On arrival, you will be met by off-road parking, leading you to the welcoming entrance and into the family-friendly contemporary lodge. Entering the open-plan living space, find an array of culinary amenities to ease your staycation, relax in front of the Smart TV, and make the most of the social hub of the property as your evenings unfold. Dawlish is the perfect village for everyday living, offering direct access to popular cafes, restaurants, and pubs, whilst also located near charming villages, including the historic coastal town of Teignmouth. For a day out in the local area head to Dawlish Lawn and its stunning stream for a picnic, have a fun-filled time at The Grand Pier, or set up shop on the sandy shores of Dawlish beach. Set away from the lodge you will also find the award-winning Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, hike towards Becky Falls Ancient Woodland Park and its child-friendly trails or get your steps in, around the grounds of Woodbury Castle. To feel at one with nature, gaze across Orcombe Cliffs, explore the natural beauty of The Medieval Exe Bridge, or visit Hawkridge Bird of Prey Centre for one of its immersive experiences. Suitable for all the family, choose The Lodge as your South Devon abode.

A lovely beach town may be found on the southern shore. Dawlish provides all you need for everyday life, including a nice selection of stores, restaurants, and cafés, as well as a small cinema. On the Dawlish River, Dawlish is famed for its Black Swans, who live alongside other wildfowl. During the summer, strings of coloured lights illuminate the water that runs through the central town park and down to the sea. Dawlish is a great place for a family vacation because it has a nice sandy beach and a crazy golf course nearby. Dawlish Warren, farther up the coast, can be accessed by car, train, or a strenuous walk up the sea wall for the more active. Dawlish mainline station, located further away, offers train service to Exeter, Exmouth, Torquay, Paignton, and even Plymouth.

Sainsbury’s supermarket literally next door made buying food easy, everything we needed for cooking was there. Lovely power shower. Beds were comfy and duvets just nice. Donna was always on call if needed. Would definitely recommend and if we were to return to dawlish we would check here first.
