This wooden lodge-style property is all on one level with three shallow steps to access the front door from the car parking area. You'll be welcomed on arrival with a home-made cake or a cream tea to get you into holiday mode. The main living area is the spacious and comfortable lounge/diner, which has French doors leading to the property’s decked area. Both bedrooms, double and twin, are calm and serene while throughout you'll enjoy well-chosen vintage-style furnishings, a subtle colour palette and understated style. In the well-equipped kitchen, natural wood dominates, and the bathroom has delightful marine colours and an elegant roll-top bath for some pampering time. Children are able to help feed the animals, which include a goat, chickens, turkeys, and geese.

Clovelly is a wonderful place to while away a day, and with its traffic-free cobbled streets, it feels like a peaceful step back in time. The museum runs craft workshops, boat trips are offered from the village’s harbour, and visitors can also buy daily fishing permits. 14 miles away, Bude is popular for a classic Cornish beach day while The Milky Way Adventure Park is within 5 miles for family fun.
