Nearby, following the River Tamar upstream is Morwellam Quay, renowned for its role in the 1860s when half of the world's copper travelled through. Also within easy reach of Bere Alston is the city of Plymouth, with regular trains running year round.

I was made very welcome by the owners, Judy & Simon. Very clean & tidy. The only useful improvement would be the addition of washing/drying machine. I was sad to be told the House & Studio is currently being put on the market. Thankyou again Judy & Simon.
