While there were minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements, the overall experience was positive, with many guests willing to recommend the lodge and return for another stay.

Cleanliness

The lodge received compliments for its cleanliness, with guests finding it to be tidy and well-maintained upon arrival. However, a few guests noted minor issues such as a dusty rug and sticky windows, which slightly impacted the overall impression of cleanliness.

For a day out, the Dartmoor National Park is within easy reach by car and offers an abundance of walking and cycling opportunities, as well as historic sites including Foggintor Quarry and Cox Tor. Devon's glorious coast can also be reached by a scenic car journey, where you can relish in an afternoon on golden sands with an ice cream in hand, the nearest being Northcott Mouth Beach, home to pretty rock pools.
