It was perfect for our children to be able to run around and play. We love the fact that we could leave the doors open for them to run in and out and not have to worry about the youngest two escaping as the garden was enclosed. The toys offered gave the children plenty to play with in the garden and they thoroughly enjoyed these. The house was ideal for our party of 7 adults and 6 children. The house is very quirky and full of character. All bedrooms are a good size and there are plenty of bathrooms. Having the two kitchens also made things a lot easier and there were plenty of utensils and crockery etc. It was probably the best equipped kitchen Iâve used in a holiday home. We highly recommend staying at Hallwood especially with young children.

A great and scenic location from which to explore the area. Friendly welcome from the owners and interesting to see the farm. Perfect for our large family get together. 10 people and 2 dogs. Great local pubs for food. Very minor niggles - The barbeque was pretty poor (we cooked inside), and a small welcome pack would have been nice at this price point. Overall would thoroughly recommend.
