Place Farm Cabin is a beautiful retreat which has been well thought out by the owners to provide guests with everything you would need for a cosy and comfortable stay. We have stayed in many similar cabins and shepherd's huts but this one is a real cut above the rest. It's design and craftmanship is stunning and it is clear that a lot of love and care has gone into making this property a really cosy retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With beautiful views from every window and a great setting within easy reach of Dartmoor and its many walks, this is a real gem. We thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

Our stay at Place Farm Cabin was just lovely. Beautifully furnished to a high standard and the most comfortable bed I think we’ve ever slept in! Our dog had the best holiday being able to run off lead in his own field right outside the back gate and sniff around the pretty wild flower meadow out front. were such perfect hosts giving us lots of recommendations of nice walks and good places to eat and what a treat to have scones and jam waiting for us on arrival! We really cannot wait to return to this lovely homely cabin.

The cabin was amazing and all built by the owner, the design and the high quality furniture make your stay perfect. The views and the fields that you have use of are amazing. The owners are friendly and have set up a welcome pack with guides of things to do, places to visit and eateries local to the cabin. On arrival they gave us some milk for a cup of tea and there was a cream tea in the cabin ready for us. The whole place is set up ready to go, for you and your furry friend. We didn't want to leave and will be back very soon.
